NEW Jewelry at Hinode Shima Featuring Essentia and Mad About

Recently we had Hinode Shima's 1st Birthday Bash, and we asked if any designers that had pogodas on the island had any asian or tropical themed items that werent on the island to feature them on the day.

Now Angelina Burali of Pogoda 28 went above and beyond by creating a NEW line of Jewelry and an item for the home, and the result was the Origami Peace Crane Earrings and the Decorative Peace Crane , they come in Red, Green and Blue and Angelina plans on expanding the line in the future.

Now when I was young, I mean little girl young , and in primary school (kindy to year 6 down here ) our teacher taught us how to make these Origami Cranes because she read us the book about Sadako (sniffles) .



If you have never read the book or heard of the story, I strongly urge you to , it still chokes me up just thinking about it, and Angelina doesnt know this but when she gave me my own pair of these earrings to wear at the Birthday it realy moved me alot....These pieces are delightful and have such a beauty to them not just for the work but the sentiment as well .....so be sure to check these and all her other wonderful pieces at Hinode Shima pogoda 28 when you can .











Now Essentia which is located next to the landing area at Hinode Shima (big pogoda pink windows) has released two brand new sets in time for Jewerly Expo as there was a Celestial theme.

Both of these wonderful sets are Unisex (Fia gets cranky when he cant wear his own Jewelry lol ) , the Sun Necklace is an incredible delicate with chain threaded through the centre of it , and the individual Um Um Um sticky outy bits of the sun are just amazing in detail and primwork , they are tiny , which actualy gives it a shimmery look when worn.

I am a huuuge fan of Silver and Gold together so I am so glad this Necklace was made that way , and I especialy like the threading through the circle of the sun as its like its been captured just for you .


The Moon Necklace is Similar in concept but with the texture on the prims giving off a phases of the moon look which is great and we all know how powerful the moon is.

So much so Fia took much delight in making the girl in the poster look very effected lol while Fia looks ruggedly handsome , I love the Moon Necklace Ive been wearing it all week and this one is a bit more romantic looking too, for the fact that it looks like a chain threaded through a ring , so it would make a lovely romantic gift for your partner if rings arent your thing .

Actualy now that I think about it , I must have looked like the girl in the poster for a bit seeing as these were made a few weeks before Jewerly Expo but I couldnt wear them until released and that always frazzles me lol.
